2027 International Electropenetrography (EPG) Conference
The 2027 International EPG Conference will be held for the third time at the University of Florida’s Citrus Research and Education Center in Lake Alfred, Florida, USA from January 25-29, 2027. The International EPG Conference is an interdisciplinary meeting of researchers from all areas of entomology, plant pathology, veterinary, and medical sciences who use (or are interested in using) EPG for their research on piercing-sucking plant- or blood-feeding arthropods.
This will be an in-person meeting sharing current research from experts, as well as an opportunity for in-person instruction on important topics relevant to conducting EPG research, including hands-on instruction in wiring insects (Monday), histology (Friday morning), and best practices for writing and reviewing EPG based studies (Friday afternoon).
A call for abstracts will be posted by August 1, 2026, from among which scientists will be chosen to present 15-minute talks or posters. In addition, an invited Keynote address will be presented for each day of the meeting.
Hosted by UF/IFAS and brought to you by a collaborative group of scientists from Auburn University, Pennsylvania State University, and USDA-ARS.
